Lavender Mint Tea
A floral-minty hug in a mug. Soothing for the belly, softening for the mind.
This is the kind of tea I reach for when I’ve been holding tension all day — in my body, in my breath, in my thoughts.
Lavender and mint come together in this simple, beautiful infusion to help you relax, digest, and gently unwind.
It’s lovely as a warm herbal ritual before bed… but equally refreshing served over ice with a slice of lemon.
I like to sip it slowly after dinner or in the late afternoon — when I want to exhale everything I’ve been carrying.
Ingredients:
1 tsp dried lavender buds (culinary grade)
1 tsp dried peppermint or spearmint leaves (or a tea bag blend)
1½ cups hot water
Optional: lemon wedge or fresh mint sprig
Optional: a touch of honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
Bring water to a near boil, then pour over the herbs.
Let steep 5–7 minutes, covered.
Strain and sip warm — or chill in the fridge and pour over ice.
Garnish with fresh mint or lemon if you like.
Warm or iced, this tea is all about releasing. It reminds me that rest is also productive — and that quiet moments matter.
