Rose & Cardamom Milk
A floral, lightly spiced sip that feels like a hug from the inside out.
Why I love it:
This one feels like self-care in a cup. It’s warm and grounding, but with a subtle sweetness from the rose that makes it feel like something special. I like to make this in the evening, especially on days when I need a little more softness. Sometimes I’ll journal with it beside me… sometimes I’ll just sit quietly and savor.
Ingredients:
1 cup plant milk (I like oat or almond)
2–3 green cardamom pods, gently crushed (or a pinch of ground)
1–2 teaspoons dried culinary rose petals
Optional: a drop of food-grade rosewater (make sure it’s labeled edible)
Sweetener to taste (maple syrup or honey)
How to Make:
Gently warm the milk in a small pot over low heat—don’t let it boil.
Add crushed cardamom and rose petals.
Let it steep for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain into a cup. Add a drop of rosewater if using, and sweeten to taste.
Sip slowly, preferably with a cozy blanket and zero rush.
Tip:
You can also froth it for a dreamy rose-cardamom latte, or serve it chilled in summer with a few rose petals floating on top.
